The location is outstanding, being right on the grounds of the beautiful Linderhof castle. There is a restaurant and bar on site, and they have a very nice beer garden. You can make very nice hikes directly fom the hotel
It is quite a ways to the nearest town, so if you don't have a car, it will not be very convenient.

Fantastic views in all directions! Even with that going for it, this hotel stands on its own with efficient staff at the Reception Desk, good food, drinks and service in the restaurant, and no skimping on its rooms. "Our" waiter, Dimi, joked with us and sang for us - and when we were using our laptops in the lobby he brought us sweets. One of the prettiest young ladies in Bavaria was behind the Reception Desk at that time and she brought extra blankets and pillows to us to ensure our comfort. We lived like queens for a night!

Hotel staff were very friendly. We booked a double room but it was not specified that my 7 and 3 years old kids are not allowed to have extra beds. Hotel should have informed me after booking confirmation. So we stayed 4 of us in the queen size bed. It wasnt really a big thing coz we only stayed there overnyt. But overall everything went fine. Breakfast was excellent esp that cappucino!
The shower know was broken.

The room as with the carpeted areas of the hotel were not clean.
